What started as droplets of inspiration became a journey instead. Perhaps a never ending tryst with destiny. The journey back to self. And obviously so, for we all need to travel back to where we came from. To the source of purity, bliss, love, peace, happiness and everything and anything that harmonises us.
We are all travellers in time, exploring life in its myriad forms – those ups and downs, those smooth patches, steep climbs, a reflection sometimes, and not to forget those roller coasters which show up once in a while. Whatever it be, the journey is joyful, for happiness lies in exploring.
A journey through the timeless sojourn of the soul…
A journey back to self, I tread,
Through winding roads, where dreams are spread.
In shadows deep, I find my light,
A path unknown, but full of sight.
The echoes call from long ago,
A voice within that starts to grow.
I walk through storms, embrace the rain,
To heal the heart, to free the pain.
I sift through dust of forgotten days,
And dust off fears that cloud my gaze.
Each step, a whisper, soft yet strong,
A song of self where I belong.
The map was never drawn in lines,
But felt within the heart that shines.
A journey back to all I am,
To rise again, to understand.
Through valleys low, through peaks so high,
The truth of me, I can't deny.
The road may twist, but in the end,
I’ll meet myself, my closest friend!
