A mountain tall, I see from here, Its peaks so grand, so full of fear. From far away, it seems to rise, Touching heavens, touching skies.
But walk a step, and you might find, Its height is less, its shape confined. A valley dips, a path so wide, What seemed too high, now feels inside.
The ocean roars, a mighty beast, From shore to shore, it never ceased. Its waves, they crash with force untold, Its depth, a secret, fierce and bold.
Yet swim beneath its endless blue, A gentle current calls to you. A softer world beneath the tide, Perspective shifts from deep inside.
Through every eye, the world is turned, What’s seen from here, from there, is learned. A truth we seek, a truth we gain, That perspective matters, in joy and pain.
So pause and look, then look again, The view can change, and bring a friend. What seems so far, can feel so near, It all depends on how you steer.
